I’ve known Diane since we were about 13, and she’s done three or four home loans and mortgage refinances for me because she’s just very, very motivated. Motivated might not even be a strong enough word. She takes the fluff out of everything and gets right to it. What makes Diane exceptional as a mortgage broker is that she’s not reactive but proactive. When title companies, escrow officers, or home inspectors start dragging their feet, she steps in and tells them she needs it by Tuesday, and if they can’t do it, she will find someone who can. She makes everyone follow our timeline instead of their own. I own ten homes and have bought many others, and with most other mortgage lenders I always hear them say they are just waiting for someone else. Diane would never say that. She’s always thinking ahead about every part of the home buying process rather than just taking things step by step and wasting time.
